University of Portsmouth graduate with a 2:1 in BSc (Hons) Computing with a substantial amount of knowledge about many different programming languages, development tools & environments. These have either been gained through university, placement year or through personal projects. I Have a passion for web design and creating responsive and visually pleasing websites. Computing Work Experience:
As part of my university course placement year. This job role involved working in a small to medium team of third line support engineers responsible for creating, maintaining and updating the majority of the systems for the UK business. This applied to both physical and virtual servers, software distribution and managing the active directory of users on a daily basis. Also involved in projects such as updating and improving the business units sharepoint site and updating server rack access hardware and software to manage the security of the servers. Also involved in working at different sites to perform taks such as server installations and installing CISCO IP Phones for different clients.
Other Work Experience:
Part time work to pick, dispatch and deliver customers shopping. This job involved working to strict time frame to get all of this done in order to be able to deliver to the customer without any issues.
Part time job whilst in my final year at university. This job involved helping first year students that lived in university halls, running events to help new students socialise and make friends. Another part of this job was running a drop in session three times a week where students could ask any questions or queries they have about university or life in halls.
First part time job, involved working in all areas of the shop to provide excellent customer service and give informative answers to all customer queries.

This project is a web application designed and developed as part of my final year project at the University of Portsmouth. The application is a way to manage events, staff and volunteers for small scale events. Created using HTML5, CSS3, PHP, MySQL, JS, JQuery, AJAX and Bootstrap. Also incorporated are API's from Google, Charts.js, DataTables and BootstrapCalendar
First year Python programming coursework, the task was to create a program which can take a user input of patch size and colour and then display this on screen using the graphics.py library.
This project was part of a group coursework in which we had to design and create a high fidelity prototype for a walk up and use system so we chose to model an airport check-in system. In order to do this successfully a number of different techniques and usabiliy rules were used.
To complete my second year coursework using 3DS MAX a scene and model were created from scratch using different methods of polygon manipulation. Then once these models where created a short 30 second animation was created to demonstrate our animation skills.
First year Java programming coursework, the task was to re-create ZORK a popular text based game from the 70's but put a Portsmouth twist on it.
Created to complete the coursework for the advanced vision and graphics (AGAV) unit at university. This involved using WebGL to render an Earth and satellite that orbits it, also making sure that the user can control the animation and scene using the keyboard and mouse.
This project was completed using Matlab to create a traffic sensor that can take an input of two images and detect the speed, size, colour and type of vehicle. Then with this information display if the vehicle was oversized, speeding or a fire engine.
